Today the So All May Create Group did a journaling mural; seven of us gathered at Natasha’s studio to work together on a mixed media wall collage the chaos was contagious, and I think the results are wonderful.
Beautiful work, enjoy:

ANNOUNCING The Lakewood Biennale — next August, 2012, in Lakewood, Colorado there will be an artist Biennale, an art event all about SHARING, not about BUYING/SELLING. (although if you want to buy something, we’re okay with that.)
No entry fee, No guidelines, No categories, just art that cracks wide open the rules.
Well, one rule: LEAVE NO TRACE — any and all works will be totally removed on August 31.
Anyone and everyone can submit a proposal for installation in the show which will run the month of August, venue to be decided.
What kind of art, you ask?
Installations (as long as they leave no trace), book arts, collaborative arts, mural art, old fashioned hang-on-the-wall art, sculpture, artist trading cards (we will have a table going at all times, leave some art, take some art), musical arts (book a time slot!), performance…. it’s all good.
We will be raising money for publicity , and you can donate by going to paypal. Click on the donate link to see how.
There are rewards involved!
$1 – $10 — original postcard from the Lakewood Biennale
$11 – $25 — nine page set of original artist trading cards produced at the Biennale
$26 – $50 — one donated print from the show
$51 – $100 — one donated art work from the show
$101 – $500 — one donated sculpture from the show
$501 – $1000 — you name it, you got it.
